How is the African Pavilion involved in RedSeaIFF
Since 2022, the African Pavilion has been a key player at the Red Sea International Film Festival, hosting three successful editions at the Red Sea Souk. In 2024, it welcomed over 200 industry professionals, facilitated 40+ strategic connections, and supported four African country delegations (Benin, Nigeria, Kenya, and Senegal). The Pavilion provides African filmmakers with direct access to funding, co-production opportunities, and industry partnerships. With the Red Sea Fund having awarded over $15 million in grants, the African Pavilion ensures that professionals from the continent are well-positioned to benefit from these opportunities.By offering a dedicated space for networking, project pitching, and visibility, the African Pavilion strengthens Africa’s presence in the Middle East’s leading film industry event.
