The 7th edition of the African Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival 2025

The African Pavilion is entering its 7th year at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. The African Cultural Agency (ACA) launched the African Pavilion at the Cannes Film Market in 2019. It has become the premier networking and business development platform for the pan-African film industry.
3 Successful Editions at the Red Sea Film Festival | Jeddah

From December 3 to 7, 2024, the African Pavilion celebrated its third consecutive year at the Red Sea International Film Festival, reaffirming its role as a strategic hub for African cinema.
Located at the heart of the Red Sea Souk, it provided a high-profile platform to showcase African talent, forge key industry connections, and unlock new opportunities for filmmakers and professionals.
With over 250 projects supported and $15 million in grants awarded, the Red Sea Fund plays a pivotal role in financing Arab and African films. By facilitating access to funding, co-productions, and global partnerships, the African Pavilion continues to empower African creatives, bringing their bold cinematic visions to the world.
Spotlight On the Talented Cameras of Africa's Program

The Talented Cameras of Africa is a program designed by the African Cultural Agency in partnership with the city of Cannes, the Cannes Film Festival and a selection of African film festivals to promote young African creatives and their work.
The Talented Cameras of Africa program invites emerging African filmmakers who are developing their 1st or 2nd film (short or feature film or documentary) during the festival and offers them a unique opportunity to meet renowned mentors.

Who are 2023 Talented Cameras of Africa participants?
In 2023, 8 talented filmmakers will be joining the Talented Cameras of Africa, an event organized at the African Pavilion in partnership with the Cannes Short Corner and in collaboration with the Marché du Film. 2023 talents are coming from Egypt, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Benin, Niger and Tunisia.
Screenings and Premieres
